These lost and broken shards of pottery chart the history of the city across the centuries. Transformed into jewellery, their function is changed, their beauty is restored and they provide a wearable record of what we ate and drank; our changing decorative tastes and the everyday lives of past generations of Londoners. Each piece comes with a historical description.
