Madlark Jewellery

'Madlark’ jewellery is made by artist Madeleine Marsh from finds mudlarked from the canals of London. These lost and broken shards of pottery chart the history of the city across the centuries. Transformed into jewellery, their function is changed, their beauty is restored and they provide a wearable record of what we ate and drank; our changing decorative tastes and the everyday lives of past generations of Londoners. Each piece comes with a historical description. Reflecting the ever changing story of one of the world’s most remarkable cities, this jewellery is genuinely unique.
